The Columbus Central University School of Medicine (CCUSOM) in Belize City was established in 2006 and has grown to become one of the top medical schools in the Caribbean.
Both the Ministry of Health and Wellness in Belize and the National Medical Commission of India have accredited CCUSOM. Also accredited by the WHO, the school is listed in the Global Directory of Medical Schools.
