On Thursday, May 27th, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology conducted a courtesy visit to Columbus Central University School of Medicine. This visit was organized by Dr. Yvonne Palma, Director of Tertiary and Post Secondary Institutions and a group of other ministry officials. A meeting was held with Mrs. Candace Castillo, CCU’s Director of Operations, discussing the university’s operations and outlining the academic policies, after which a complete tour of the facility was given. Mrs. Castillo expressed her sincere gratitude for the visit on behalf of the President, Dr. Malik Soudah and Vice President, Ms. Peggy Allen, saying that “ We were delighted to have hosted these officials here today, we look at this visit as a symbol of a continued flourishing working relationship and a platform for continued support with the Ministry of Education.”
Depsite last year’s lockdown and Covid 19 challenges, Columbus Central University School of Medicine remains in operation and continues to conduct lectures through distant learning platforms.
